Since I live in the United States, my phone number is ten digits long, with
three groups of digits. The number begins with a 3-digit area code, which
is followed by a 3-digit exchange prefix. The last 4 digits in the number
are the subscriber number. To figure out this phone number, you'll have to
decode each group of digits as described below:
- Area Code: The three digits in my area code
are also the digit multipliers for the three lowest digits in the binary
number system, but in a different order. The correct order of the digits in
my area code with respect to their values is: middle, low, high.
- Exchange Prefix: The product of all of the
digits in the exchange prefix of my phone number is 140. The values of the
digits in my prefix are monotonically increasing in order.
- Subscriber Number: The outer two digits
are null, and the inner two digits are the answer to the question of
"Life, the Universe, and Everything."
I urge you to call, if you decipher the number. I would like to talk.
