| Here is the component side of the circuit board. As you can see, things are a little crowded on top. There is an 1N5818 silicon zener diode underneath the left-most capacitor. The capacitor is straddling the diode, so only the leads of the diodle are visible. The 2N3904 transistor is the TO-92 component at the center top, and the TO-92 component on the right side of the board is the 78L05 voltage regulator. The wires on the left go to the DB9 connector, and the wires on the right go to the quick-disconnect connectors. |
