The LCD displays used for the RaceGauge are made by Hitachi, model number
LMG7400PFLC.
These LCD modules feature:
- 240x128 resolution, black/white
- 123mm x 68mm viewing area
- +5v logic supply voltage, -22v LCD voltage, 1.6W total power consumption
- Built-in HD61830 LCD display controller with 8-bit MPU interface
These LCD modules were purchased from a surplus electronics outlet for about
$30 each. Here is the schematic for the LCD/MPU interface:
