In the years following the illustrious yet tragically short life of the RaceGauge, I began dabbling in performance tuning in import cars. My 98 Integra GSR withstood the power of nitrous injection for a year or two, and then I installed a Jackson Racing supercharger. And it was good. But this kit has several shortcomings, at least one of which I am attempting to solve with this project. So Fascination Software has teamed up with my "comrade in mad tuning," Dan Hammans to create the free (as in speech) Open Import Fuel Tuner, a quantum leap forward in import tuner technology. It is with great sadness that I must announce the cancelation of the O.I.F.T. project. At about 1:00pm on Sunday, November 3rd, 2002, my 1998 Integra GSR was stolen from the Cafe Mexico parking lot in Richardson, Texas. The police found it destroyed less than 24 hours later in south Dallas. The thiefs took all of the stereo, engine, and transmission components. They also beat the hell out of the car, showing the world that their mama's didn't teach them respect for others' property. If these punk thugs don't do their time in prison, they'll do it in hell.
